Visto Corporation Chosen to Join Microsoft's Mobility Partner Advisory Council; Global Alliance to Drive Enterprise Adoption and Bring Mobile Solutions To Market.

Microsoft formed this exclusive council in an effort to bring the most innovative and successful solutions to market with companies heavily invested in mobility solutions. Only the most innovative companies in the wireless and mobile industry are selected as MPAC members. Visto's membership follows its announcement with Microsoft whereby the two companies will co-market to mobile operators worldwide Visto's email solution, Visto MessageXpress(TM), on Microsoft Windows Powered Pocket PC devices and Microsoft Windows Powered Smartphones.

MPAC benefits include quarterly face-to-face meetings that provide opportunities to discuss strategy and new innovations from Microsoft, carriers, industry analysts and fellow members. By having access to key Microsoft executives as well as technical, marketing and business development support, Visto will be able to branch into new markets, creating new opportunities for its own business as well as for Microsoft and other MPAC partners.

The Visto Solution for Windows Powered devices

Mobile operators may choose to brand this solution as its own and resell it to its customers. Customers purchasing Pocket PC and Smartphone devices will be able to quickly and simply install and activate Visto MessageXpress upon purchase. Plus, with its synchronization feature, email on a user's mobile device stays consistent with the email account on their desktop.
