Fed: Pagemasters MD Bruce Davidson appointed AAP CEO
Journalist and manager BRUCE DAVIDSON has been appointed chief executive officer of
Australia's national news agency .. Australian Associated Press.
Mr DAVIDSON is managing director of AAP's subsidiary Pagemasters .. and succeeds CLIVE
MARSHALL .. who is returning to Britain to join the UK's Press Association as its CEO.
Mr DAVIDSON is a journalist with more than 30 years experience.
He's a founder of Pagemasters .. which has in recent years won contracts to provide
editorial production services to titles such as The Sydney Morning Herald .. The Age ..
The New Zealand Herald .. and London's Daily Telegraph.
AAP chairman MICHAEL GILL says Mr DAVIDSON will bring a combination of editorial leadership
and business experience to the role.
