Qld: police arrests follow drug operation
BRISBANE, Aug 23 AAP - Police have seized a large quantity of drugs, including cannabis,
ecstasy and amphetamines, in a two-day operation on the Gold Coast.
Seventeen people had been arrested and faced 35 charges, police said today.
They were expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court at a later date on
charges of possessing, producing and supplying drugs.
